Samantha: Seven Dwarfs Mine Train!

Hi! I’m Samantha, the guest blogger! I absolutely love everything Disney! My favorite movie is The Little Mermaid. I have been to Walt Disney World 10 times! (So I definitely have some knowledge to share!) My favorite ride is Space Mountain. I’ve never been to DisneyLand, but I hope to go someday!

Today, I wanted to talk about the newest ride at Walt Disney World, The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train! It’s an all new type of roller coaster, featuring the Seven Dwarfs themselves!

This experience features new technology that allows each car to swing back and forth, like a real mine train!
*Tip* For the most swing, ask a cast member before boarding for the back row!

This ride is located in New Fantasy Land. It’s hard to miss! The height requirement is 38 inches. I would compare this ride to a tamer Big Thunder Mountain (Frontier Land) because neither have very large hills. The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train does slow down in the middle, while you are going through the mine. Here, you can see all seven dwarfs: Dopey, Sneezey, Sleepy, Bashful, Grumpy, Happy, and Doc! They are mining! Heigh-Ho!

This ride is pretty great, but the line can get really long, since it is new. I’ve seen it go all the way up to 90 minutes as soon as the Magic Kingdom opens. During the day, it ranges from 90-120+ minutes. What I would recommend it getting a Fastpass+ for this attraction as soon as you can. If you’re staying on Disney property, you can make you Fastpass+ selections 60 days before your vacation. If you’re staying off property, you can make these selections 30 days before. I HIGHLY recommend getting a Fastpass+ for this attraction if you really want to ride it!
*Tip* The only thing about getting a Fastpass+ for The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is that you skip the cool interactive queue. Unless you want to wait 90+ minutes, I would say to get to the ride as soon as the park opens.

I really enjoy this ride and I think a lot of you will too! Thanks for reading!

See Ya Real Soon! And have a magical day!
